Hello, my name is Brie and I’ve been a book critic for eight years.
The Romance Backlist is a literary blog about the
Romance genre and fiction with strong romantic elements. My aim is to talk about books that are at least a year old--so no new or upcoming releases--and examine them individually and, in a more general sense, analyze and contextualize them within the broader genre. I realize that this sounds like pretentious nonsense, and I did just refer to myself as a critic in a literary blog, but just so we're clear, I’ll mostly be talking about my favorite secret babies the angstiests romance heroes who milk the most out of their man-pain (not an euphemism).
